Work Culture Transformation and Energy Policy: Beginning with Self-Alignment

Transformation in work culture and the direction of energy policy is generally understood as changes in systems, rules, or approaches implemented from the outside. These efforts have their role, yet they do not fully address the underlying foundation. In reality, it is people—not systems—who transform, embody culture, and carry out work. Those who design and implement policies are also people. Therefore, what must first undergo transformation is the individual. Without a change in the inner state, the goals that are set can feel superficial—moving for a moment, yet lacking consistency and sustainability.

From the perspective of self-alignment, change does not begin with what is altered externally, but from within—how the self is ordered internally. When speaking of human beings, they cannot be understood only from external aspects, as they also possess an internal dimension that underlies them. This is where the urgency of self-alignment becomes fundamental. When the awareness to change does not arise from within, but merely follows external demands or appearances, transformation easily loses its meaning. Conversely, when the self becomes aligned—honestly and wholly—direction becomes clearer, and decisions are grounded in a more stable and sustainable foundation.

Ultimately, the success of any transformation is not determined solely by the precision of systems or policies, but by the state of the people who carry them out. From self-alignment, change is no longer driven from the outside, but grows naturally from inner awareness—emerging with greater clarity, not as an image to be projected, but as a lived consciousness. In this state, transformation finds its direction and can unfold consistently and sustainably. Therefore, the strengthening of human resources cannot stand on its own, but needs to be grounded in self-alignment, so that what is built is not only strong on the surface, but also solid from within.
